Measured planning guide

Local Search Planning for Contractors

Local search work should make a real business easier to understand and verify. It cannot guarantee a position, inquiry, or sale.

Make business information consistent

  • Use the current legal name, phone, hours, service area, and website.
  • Show a license only when it belongs to the business and applies to the work.
  • Correct duplicate or outdated profiles that could confuse customers.

Publish useful local information

Explain genuine services, service limits, scheduling expectations, and common customer questions. Avoid city pages that only swap place names or invent market statistics.

Measure the right outcomes

Review qualified calls, forms, appointments, and booked work by source. Rankings can change and should not be treated as revenue.
