Angi for Contractors: Questions to Ask Before Paying

Angi features, prices, account rules, request distribution, and dispute options can change. Read the current provider agreement and measure results in the actual trade and service area.

Confirm the current business model

  • What event creates a charge
  • Whether a customer request is shared or limited
  • How budgets, targeting, and service areas are controlled
  • How credits, disputes, refunds, and cancellations work
  • What customer and performance data can be exported

Run a bounded test

Set a budget the business can afford to test. Record each charged event, customer fit, response, appointment, estimate, booked project, refund, and staff time.

Calculate the full cost

Include platform charges, staff time, refunds not received, travel, estimating time, and any subscription or tool costs. Compare booked work and margin, not raw request count.
